The PA Department of Labor and Industry has a new COVID-19 Guidance page that features helpful unemployment compensation-related updates for both workers and employers. This site will answer the vast majority of the UC questions being asked right now, and is continually updated as more information becomes available - so please bookmark it and keep checking back. Instructions on how to file a UC claim 

The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program (PUA) covers individuals who are self-employed, seeking part-time employment, or whom otherwise would not qualify for regular UC or EB under state or federal law or Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation.

- This program provides up to 39 weeks of benefits and is available starting with weeks of unemployment beginning on or after January 27, 2020 and ending on or before December 31, 2020.

- A separate application will be posted for this program. Applicants should not apply for regular UC; you need to wait for the application. Interested applicants should keep checking this site for updates on availability.
