Staats, Mensch Urge Bucks Seniors to Attend Forum on Aging
HARRISBURG – Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks) and Sen. Bob Mensch (R-Berks/Bucks/ Montgomery) are urging senior citizens in Bucks County to attend a FREE health forum in Richlandtown.
The Upper Bucks Forum on Aging will be held on Thursday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Benner Hall,
1250 E. Cherry Road in Richlandtown, and will feature health screenings and wellness services, fitness demonstrations, healthy foods, medication checks, safety issues and more.
“The Forum on Aging will offer seniors, their family members and caregivers the opportunity to get health and wellness assistance and advice in one place,” said Staats. “In addition to blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests and balance assessments, representatives of state, county and local health services agencies will be available to answer questions and provide information on programs and services in our area. Sen. Mensch and I will be there and we welcome visitors to stop by our table and say ‘hi’.”
There is no charge for this event and no RSVP is necessary.
