HARRISBURG – Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks) today announced that PENNVEST approved a $5.7 million loan for a North Penn Water Authority (NPWA) project in West Rockhill Township.
“I am thrilled to see this funding officially approved by PENNVEST,” said Staats. “This project will allow for increased water connectivity in Upper Bucks, which will improve service for consumers. I was proud to extend my support for this project and I know that the NPWA will put this funding to good use.”
This project will extend a transmission main from NPWA’s Salford Township system to connect to its Sellersville system. The project is located within the boundary of West Rockhill Township in Bucks County. Construction of the transmission main will provide a direct seamless connection, via gate valves, of the Forest Park water supply to Sellersville, thereby increasing system reliability, pressure and fire flow.
PENNVEST funding specifically serves projects in Pennsylvania that focus on sewar, storm water and drinking water projects.
