HARRISBURG – Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks) today announced the Quakertown YMCA has received grant funding from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).

The Quakertown YMCA has been awarded this funding to support multiple construction projects. This includes a relocation of the gymnastics area, the renovation of existing gymnastics space to create a full-size basketball court and three pickle ball courts, and the creation of locker/Y circuit and family locker rooms to provide improved areas to serve families and those with disabilities.

“I am thrilled to see the Quakertown YMCA receive this grant,” said Staats. “This funding will help them with necessary renovation and construction projects for the facility to modernize its space and continue to serve citizens from across Upper Bucks County.”

The RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the design, acquisition, and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects.
